Our Tail Dragger Plane

NEWS

Graham Corbin, has just joined us full time. Graham has a wealth of experience with general aviation maintenance, is a FAA IA - welcome on board

Scott Taylor has just been issued with his Part 66 turbine licence, look out for some very special turbine aircraft visitin Fenland shortly - congratulations Scotty

E-Plane is approved under the new EASA regulations Part M Subpart F,G & I, which you can see on the CAA web site. What does this mean:

* Aircraft Approved for maintenance at Fenland are all Cessna,Commander Socata including TBM700/850 Turbine, Piper and Beech single and twin engined piston series, plus Robin/Apex/Alpha/Cap10, Maule, Mooney, Bellanca/Citrabia, Fuiji, Bolkow and Gruman single engine piston series under UK. MF. 0080

* Aircraft Approved for continuing Airworthiness Management and ARC issue are Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft single and twin engined piston series plus Socata/Rallye, Robin/Apex/Alpha /CAP 10 and Grumman Single-Engine Piston series under UK.MF0523. In other words we are not currently approved to issue ARCs for Mooney, Maule and Bellanca. We can now issue ARCs under our own CAMO approval.

* Component overhaul and repair for certain items in the following categories: B2 Engine (cylinder repair), C3 Comms and Nav, C5 Electrical Power, C6 ELT Servicing, C7 Engine - APU, C12 Hydraulic, C20 Structures.

E-Plane is also able to maintain US "N" registered aircraft, and we have our own IA to sign of the annuals and avionic work.

We have also been joined by George Lee who is an experienced and licensed Avionic Engineer. We can now undertake Radio Annuals for Aircraft equipped upto Mode S standard, repair those in operative Nav/Comms and instal upgrades to your equipment. Latest project is a Garmin 430 upgrade for a Cesna 182.

Our amendment application for M3 ( non Easa Aircraft), and Permit to Fly is pending.

If your Aircraft is not listed or you are looking for a particular capability please call James Dooley on 01 406 540 461 and we will try and help.
