For holders of valid licences, Fenland Flying
School offers aircraft hire at reasonable rates.
Pre-requisites
Before hiring we ask that you undergo a check
flight with one of our instructors. The flight will include a little bit of
general handling (including stalls and PFLs), circuits and maybe some
navigation.
If you have previously hired with us, a
shorter check flight to verify currency may be required if you haven’t
flown for a reasonable amount of time.
We regret that we cannot hire aircraft to
license holders over the age of 80 for insurance purposes, but we are more
than happy for you to fly dual under the supervision of one of our
instructors.

All prices include the 17.5% VAT rate.
Regular hirers may want to take advantage of
our discount hire schemes. For an upfront annual fee, both our Cessna 150 and
Cessna 172 aircraft can be hired at a very discounted and competitive rate
for an entire year.
Additionally, we also have a Cessna 337
(Multi Engine in line thrust) and Mooney M20 available. Both aircraft are
on the N register and can be flown by a suitable qualified UK licence
holder within UK airspace. Prices are on application for both of these
aircraft. The Mooney is currently available at Biggin Hill.
